About
The Afghan Pashai are one of Afghanistan's oldest and least-heard communities — an indigenous people of the eastern mountains with a distinct language, heritage, and identity that have survived for centuries against the odds. Today that heritage is at a crossroads. War, displacement, and repeated natural disasters have scattered our families across the world and threatened to erase a culture that has never had the institutions, resources, or platform that larger communities take for granted. The Afghan Pashai Community in the United States exists to change that: to give our people a voice, our youth an education, and our language and traditions a future. When you support us, you are not funding a bureaucracy — you are investing directly in the survival of a people and the promise of the next generation.
The Afghan Pashai Community in the United States is dedicated to building a stronger future for Pashai families while preserving a unique cultural and linguistic heritage for generations to come. Through education, youth development, health initiatives, employment and business support, cultural preservation, research, and humanitarian assistance, we connect the talents and resources of our community in the United States with people who need opportunity and support. We believe lasting change begins by giving people the tools to succeed—education for young people, opportunities for families, support during times of hardship, and a strong community network that ensures our language, history, and traditions continue to thrive.
A contribution to the Afghan Pashai Community is more than a donation—it is an investment in people, opportunity, and the preservation of a community whose voice and heritage deserve to endure. With the support of individual donors, corporations, foundations, and community partners, we can expand educational opportunities, strengthen families, respond to humanitarian needs, empower the next generation, and preserve Pashai language and culture. Every contribution helps transform community commitment into measurable action, allowing us to reach more people and build a future in which Pashai children and families have the opportunity, support, and confidence to succeed while remaining connected to their heritage.
